About Select+.

An independent app. A personal approach to Apple Music playlists.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

What is Select+?

Select+ (Select Plus) is an independent iPhone music app operated by Lucky Lemon Ltd. It creates personalised Apple Music playlists from favourite artists, tracks, moods, decades and occasions. Select+ is not affiliated with Apple Inc.

Who operates Select+?

Select+ is operated by Lucky Lemon Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17494198. For questions about the app, contact support@selectplusmusic.com.

How it works

Start with a favourite artist or track, a mood, a decade or an occasion. Select+ creates a personalised mix for you to review and play with Apple Music. Generated mixes remain temporary until you choose to save them. Exporting a playlist to Apple Music is a separate, explicit action.

Explore the Apple Music playlist maker or see how to shape music for a party, dinner, workout or road trip.

Features

  • Fast Mix: start with a favourite artist or track and build a mix around it.
  • Mood Mix: choose how you want the music to feel.
  • Event Mix: shape a playlist around an occasion, your guests, mood and energy.
  • Decade Mix: use a musical era as your starting point.
  • Discover: explore For You, Select+ Picks, Album Picks and Radio.
  • Together: invite friends to help build a collaborative mix.
  • Apple Watch: use the companion to start a Fast Mix with an artist, reach your Mixes and use Now Playing controls.
  • CarPlay: return to saved mixes, discover music and continue playback in the car.

Shazam in Select+ can identify a song playing around you and use the recognised track as a starting point for a Fast Mix.

Pricing and requirements

Download Select+ free and create your first three mixes free. Unlimited mix creation then requires a £3.99 one-off lifetime unlock in the UK. There is no Select+ subscription. Local pricing is shown in the App Store, and Restore Purchases is available in the app.

An Apple Music subscription is required for playback. Select+ creates and shapes playlists; Apple Music provides the music catalogue and playback.

Availability

Select+ is available on the App Store for iPhone, with Apple Watch and CarPlay experiences. Its App Store ID is 6815407945. Android is not currently supported.
